I think we all had the same reaction to the teacher's actions in her self- contained classroom. I had the impression that the teacher assumed that her students weren't capable of a lot, and that was why she chose to run her classroom the way she did. However, the authors mentioned that she noticed what was going on and made changes as suggested in her classroom. After reading the article my thought was, did the teacher continue to use these interventions in after the authors' research was over?
