Books on tape...I also love books on tape! I have used many books on tape for my ESL or EC students, and they love them! I had a whole collection that had the book and the cassettes, and my students could finger point to the words if the narrator went slow enough...now however, it's impossible to find the cassette players anymore and the ones that I do find are from thrift stores and do not come with much life left on them. But to your comment about hearing figurative language and style etc...I completely agree that this is a wonderful way to expose students to correct language structures.
