Making predictions with penzu

I also like penzu. Each day I have my 4th and 5th grade students predict what might happen in the upcoming stories they are reading based on the title and previous stories read that week. They absolutely love to tell me their predictions however it takes up a good deal of my time. If I used penzu they could write down their predictions when they first walk into my room during independent time and read it to me and their classmates before we begin guided reading. I also thought that once we finished the story they could go back to penzu and write down a short summary and if their predictions came true. This could reinforce comprehension as well as strengthening their writing abilities.
