Hi Jennifer:

I think that school districts should require a technology facilitator to come into each grade-level's classroom at least once per week, have keyboard hookups for the iPads, and give each grade-level their own keyboarding lessons. If students participated with an 6-8-week program, with one-class-per-week session, they could become much more proficient with keyboarding skills. Thus, they could work through their writing processes in a more time-friendly manner and could concentrate more on their writing content.
