And the discussing people's sexuality board too

“That’s really cool,” she smiled, when Zevalyn pointed out the plus side of being a prefect from her point of view. “I guess having it vaguely endorsed that I’m a decently responsible human, according to someone, and that the school isn’t totally rigged against halfbloods is kinda nice. Though would I trade in self-validation if it meant not having to dance in front of the whole school?” she grinned. “That’s a pretty tough one to call.

“Yeah, I think they are. Or like… they’re super close anyway, and she looks pretty badass so I’m so not going there,” she nodded, when Zev asked whether Jozua was dating Lily. “I don’t exactly know who’s in duelling club, but given how close they are, I bet she is, and I am not getting on the wrong side of any of that lot.” The fact that the medic or teachers could fix them all up pretty easily (at least, in so far as Georgia had seen) didn’t actually make Georgia any more relaxed about the possibility of getting hurt. Getting hurt would still… well, hurt.

“No and no,” she replied when Zevalyn asked if she had any options or dance experience. “Like, Joe’s in the same position as us, but like…. ‘Hi, we’re both mutually desperate’ doesn’t sound great and I don’t even know him. There’s Kir, this fourth year boy, who I’ve at least talked to, but he’s gay. I mean, I guess that might make it better in some ways. At least he’ll know I’m not asking him out on a date date. But like… it might look kind of lame dancing with someone younger than me. I can’t remember whether he’s taller than me or not...

“Oh,” she added, realising she might have put her foot in it… She didn’t think Kir’s sexuality was exactly a secret… He hadn’t had any problem telling her in pretty much the first conversation they’d ever had, “I don’t think it’s exactly a secret, about Kir,” - it was, in fact, not a secret in so much as something cannot be secret when it is utterly wrong. What Kir had actually told Georgia was that he was singing a song that was popular in the gay community, which combined with his tendency to wear a rainbow flag thing had Georgia adding two and two together and getting five - rather unsurprsingly and understandably, but incorrectly nonetheless, “but like… don’t say it in front of anyone who’ll be a jerk about it. He’s a nice guy. I don’t want him getting his head flushed down the toilet cos of me.”
