Maybe you're delusional!

Okay, so he hadn’t managed to Vanish her whole chair. That was annoying. Especially because Camilla was laughing at him and for that she absolutely deserved to be taken down a peg (or chair). Knocking someone over and then laughing about it was childish behaviour, a dumb mockery when instead she could be doing both herself and him the favour of actually trying to best him and have something real to laugh about.

But he had gotten enough of the legs to knock her off-balance. The benefit of Camilla clearly prioritizing her own entertainment over attacking him was that she wasn’t even paying enough attention to recover and instead went crashing down - right on top of him. Or somewhat on top of him. Ruben had already been pushing himself up, the unfamiliar angle of landing backwards in his chair having slowed him down in his recovery more than usual, but now he was knocked back down. He swore again and shoved Camilla. “Get off. You want to fight, you do it the right way,” he snapped, angrily, but trying to keep his volume down so as not to draw too much attention from Holland Wilson anyone.

He scoffed at her apology, blue eyes rolling. Yes, this was a once-in-a-million chance, and good thing she recognized it! If he was being honest with himself, Ruben had done similar things in the past, although he never just sat there laughing about it like an idiot because he had better things to do with his time, such as throwing a hex or faking innocence (or both). However, this whole sequence of events had done little to put Ruben in a self-honest mood. He was rather inclined to take a swing at Camilla. Why did they have to be in Ancient Runes right now? He actually liked this class and would be slightly more annoyed to be kicked out of it than he would the other classes.

So rather than punch Camilla, Ruben just stood up, making sure to “accidentally” stomp on her foot. “Oops.” The word was not even a tiny bit apologetic. Dragging his chair into an upright position once more, he retrieved his note-paper from where he’d dropped it. “And by the way,” he mimicked her, “I do not care one floating pineapple.” Although he’d find someone to share it with later who would care. Maybe Kaye. She didn’t seem to like Camilla, either; she could probably appreciate a joke at the older girl’s expense. And if it timed out that Heather was eavesdropping nearby… The blonde flashed Camilla a wide grin, teeth included in a manner intended to be more threatening than friendly, and sat down again. Time to get back to work.

It was all fun and games until someone got hurt. One second Camilla was laughing as Ruben fell to the floor with a loud crash and the next second she tumbled, without any sign or warning, on top of... more

A what a rude little pussball. The blonde quickly retracted her foot as the WHOLE LOT of weight of Ruben “accidentally” came crushing down her foot. What was his problem? Apparently his lack of humor ... more
