Leon’s night was restless, it was his first time away from home. He tried his best to sleep, but he knew he snored and didnt want to keep his roommate awake threw that, especially after just meeting him. This whole place world was new to him. He somehow hadn’t let it sink in that he was apart of it.

When he got ready for the day, he knew spellwork was his first class. Made sure to grab his brand new wand, something his mother insisted on getting the right one for him, which lead to spending more time in the wand shop and quickly grabbing the other things, like his ill fitting robes. He already planned another shopping trip during the winter break, but he didn't know if his mom could make such a big purchase during that time of year with christmas and everything.

As he listened to his Head of house give his first lecture, it was nice to see a few friendly faces in the room. He was about to raise his hand to ask a few questions, but decided it would be best to ask him in private about Enymasgus or whatever the teacher just said.

So this lesson was on the spells Lumos and Nox, which his mom had told him about, but couldn't show him, due to losing her wand a while ago. She said that proper pronunciation of a spell was key, so was manipulating the energy that the boy had access to. Those lessons would now come in handy here.

The Professor did tell them that this was supposed to be a partnership with an older student, so Leon waited for someone to come to him. He just didn't handle rejection well and sweat started to drip from his blonde hair onto his forehead. He would just wait, after all it wasn't his job to ask an older student it was theirs to ask him… right? He watched as others where paired off until finally someone asked him.
