Quinn Walker
That's a very useless fact to know.

RMI was different then Chatham Academy and Quinn Walker realized this seconds into her first day. First of all, she had a dorm and a roommate. Quinn had never had a roommate before. Each of the Walker children had their own suites at home which consisted of a large bathroom, a bedroom, and a day room. When she was younger, it was where her toys lived, but now, as a proper young lady, it was where she received quests and entertained. Chatham Academy had been a day school that was mere blocks from her large home. Now she was states away from Savannah, Georgia, and Quinn was excited for the adventure she was embarking on.

The brown haired girl knew that Father expected her to make good connections with other proper Purebloods, but she was just a bit thrilled to not be under Mama's overbearing rules anymore. In fact, Mama would've never allowed her to take Astronomy, but the parentals didn't really have a say on what she could or could not sign up for now.

So here she was after dinner ready to attend her first evening class ever. She had been surprised to find that there was an outdoor classroom in an underground school, but she had dressed appropriately. She wore a pair of new jeans. Mama had insisted that jeans would be suitable for her to wear to messy classes. She wore a plain black t-shirt and grabbed a soft pink cashmere sweater just in case it was cold. The sweater had been charmed with an everlasting warmth charm by her governess last year, and she loved it.

Quinn didn't' mind the wooden benches, after all, they were outside, but then the professor instructed them to lie on the ground. Quinn pursed her lips. This lesson was quickly becoming less and less fun for the newly minted Cetus. Also, Quinn really didn't want to work with a partner. At Chatham, they never worked in partners. But she was here to make connections, so she went over and grabbed a blanket.

Quinn was spreading out the blanket before finding a partner; perhaps someone would want to work with the new girl. Soon she heard a voice beside her asking if she would mind working the speaker on this assignment.

Quinn turned and took in the boy next to her. He had been in most of his classes. She hadn't caught his name yet, so she smiled at him. "I wouldn't mind working with you at all. I was hoping someone would ask me it's so intimidating entering a new school and immediately having to find a partner." Her accent was slow and molasses-like, just like most people from the upper-crust of Savannah, Georgia. The third-year smiled as she pushed her hair behind her ear. "I'm Quinn Walker, and you are?"
