Armaan had indicated that he was enjoying the party too, which Nick was glad about, but also hadnít continued the conversation beyond that which made Nick feel a little bit awkward. The blonde grinned to offset the awkwardness of the situation, and cast about for something else to say. Quidditch? He could definitely talk about Quidditch for awhile - despite that he wasnít as into it as his best friend, Nick did follow some pro teams and was, of course, the captain of one of the school teams himself. But somehow it didnít seem like Quidditch was a great topic of conversation with this particular boy at this particular party. Maybe he was wrong. Maybe he was right? He wished Francine were here. Not because his twin was necessarily the best at discerning what kind of conversation to have, but because she at the very least was very good at having a conversation at any given time.

It looked like most of the party attendees had either gravitated towards the dance floor or towards one of the many dark corners the Secret Passageways provided. RMI was a relatively small school, and Nick had only managed to be increasingly surprised at how many people decided it was a good idea to date - or hook up with - as many people as possible. Although Nick was specifically thinking of Marissa in that moment, he also couldnít see Francine on the dance floor, although he wasnít looking very hard, and decided not to try. There was a strong likelihood that Nick did not want to know what Francine was doing at that particular moment.

With one hand, the Draco mussed his hair up, his response to the awkwardness of the situation. His brown eyes scanned Armaanís face, looking for some sort of clue about how to continue. Seeing nothing in particular, Nick thought of Francine again, and what she would suggest, and then made the questionable decision to follow what he would imagine would be his twinís suggestion.

He leaned forward and kissed Armaan.

  • Armaanís stomach rumbled loudly, thankfully unintelligible over the loud music. He should have probably eaten a bit more than a Caesar salad for dinner, but the house elves were so good at making it... more
