He made her smile! The blonde was smug about achieving that, especially after she had been crying. Her smile meant that he was doing a good job at becoming a distraction, and his heart couldn't help but skip a beat. Caleb smiled back and let a laugh escape his lips at her answer. He didn't know the details of why RMI had become such a bad place for Claudia. He had to accept that he was curious about it, but he was not going to press for information she was not willing to offer him willingly. Maybe something extremely bad had happened while she was here and she linked the school with the situation? Maybe one day she would tell him all about her misadventures at the school.

“What do you usually do for those amazing long breaks?” he asked moving the conversation further towards things that made her happy or at least she liked. Caleb was almost sure that she did big family things. She looked like the kind of girl that owned big palatial mansions near the sea or something. It was obvious by the way she dressed and gilded around her peers that she came from money, even the way she talked exuded upper-class. Caleb was pretty sure that Claudia came from an upstanding family within the Wizarding Society. The blonde had friends that came from such families, but even when he was technically a Pureblood he didn't have money nor connections. The Lyra could be considered upper-middle class. He shrugged mentally, but his smile stayed in place.

“And what's your favorite thing to do during the summer?” he added to his initial question. He wondered if she spent her summer lounging all day at the beach, just enjoying life, or if she was one of those girls that kept themselves active with a lot of activities and parties and friends. He, personally, liked being active! Caleb spent most of his summer at Quidditch Camp.
