Vivica Dixon
Achievement Unlocked - Disorientation
Wed Jun 27, 2018 10:01

Vivica’s parents were both muggles, and recent events were as much a surprise to them, as they were to her. It was generally acknowledged that Vivica was different, but this was not what any of them had imagined. As a muggle, they’d all accepted Vivica’s disability and how she was managing it, but the wizarding world, of which she knew nothing about, was something different. How would they handle Vivica? Extensive research and a lot of consideration brought Vivica and her family to the conclusion that RMI was the best for them her. It wasn’t too far away (which was a pretty much her father's main request).

The morning of the orientation, Vivica had tactfully chosen her favorite black dress, the princess line with the gloss black geometric patterns embroidered all over. To the unobserving, it was just a black dress with few defining features, other than it looked nice. However, in the right light it sparkled. Vivica had complimented the dress with her Lemon and Lime 8 eye DMs, and a yellow bow atop her long black ponytail. A touch of colour can never go amiss. She appeared smart enough to look attentive, yet casual enough to display some of her personality.

Once the tour had finished and Vivica found herself standing in a room with other wizards and witches in training, a flash of realisation passed before her. From the way back when, and her initial inklings, the being different, and the letter(!). To the here and now, the magical underground bunker and the other magical kids her age, it felt a little overwhelming. Not to mention being told to make a Manticore trap. What the hell is a Manticore, and why does it need to be trapped?

Vivca was certainly out of her element, but she refused to be deterred. Taking a breath, Vivica eyed up the assortment of items in front of her before looking around her, hoping to for some inspiration on what to do. Finally, she leaned into the person next to her, and with a smile asked “What is a Manticore?”
