Wyatt had turned to see Holland standing behind him with a baby stroller. He kept his smile up as he Holland asked if he was trying to focus. They then explained they were looking for a quiet place to take the doll. Wyatt laughed as he shook his head and pointed to the ground where his own baby carrier tucked. His doll with Kateri, named Winter was only his responsibility on the weekends. Kateri would drop off Winter Friday at five pm, and Wyatt would have her until Monday morning.
“I think they made their cries quieter here and made them cry less here. According to Kateri, the doll won’t stop crying with her, but with me here the doll is usually quiet.” He paused for a moment and shrugged. “Or maybe Kateri is a horrible mom, and I’m the best dad.”
He pointed to the table. “Feel free to sit down. I was just reading some comics.” Wyatt moved some books away from the other chairs, making sure to shuffle the bought essays to the bottom of the pile. Wyatt nervously smoothed out his hair, he didn’t think he ever had a one on one conversation with Holland before but the fourth year did know he liked Holland. It might be the ever changing hair or the fact that they followed their true self. Or a hundred other things that made Holland, Holland.

When Holland said his business was enterprising he grinned, it was the same grin that Frankie and his dad had. His mom called it the Munro grin; it had been part of why she couldn’t say no to Gaston. ... more
“I agree, that wouldn’t be fair.” That explanation didn’t solve the redundancy of a duplicate library. It was probably possible to do some kind of quantum wizard-space-like spell, so the books could... more
Holland agreed that it wouldn’t be fair with the Draco library having books the rest of the school had, and he figured that could be the end of that conversation. After all, without a Draco to tell... more
