Hazel-eyes locked with Danny’s eyes and before she could actually think about what was going to her mind, “Yes,” she answered simply. Camilla hadn't thought about the possibility of Danny throwing her question back at, albeit in a different perspective, but the meaning was the same. The Ceti took a sip of her tea, her eyes still in place where she had left them locked with Danny’s, and took a minute to actually think about how she could phrase her explanation. The blonde took a deep breath before carefully setting her cup on the table, and absentmindedly playing with it before breaking eye-contact.

Why was this so hard? Oh yeah, she had never talked about something this deep with someone that wasn't Elijah before.

Camilla passed delicate fingers through her hair before finally deciding on how to start this.

“Well,” the blonde looked at Danny again. “I am trapped by Pureblood traditions even when I am not part of that circle,” she continued. “I apologize for the use of the word, I am just not sure how else to phrase it.” She said with a smile.

“I am supposed to follow certain ideals because of who my father is, but at the same time I am judged for the circumstances of my birth. I get judged for something I have no control over and yet I am supposed to live under a set of ideas I don't believe in,” Camilla took a deep breathe. “Or so my mother has been telling me all these years,” she said with a chuckle. “She hopes I´ll get married to a nice Pureblood boy, but most of them don't really want a girl that doesn't bare an important enough last name.”

“You see? While you get to live in the light side as an Heir, I get to live my life in the dark side as a bastard,” she sighed. “Im supposed to live under a set of ideals that shun me out at the same time,” Camilla finished not really sure she was making an sense at all. It was the first time she shared her thoughts like this with someone that wasn't Elijah, but Camilla had never been too shy about her parentage. However, no one had somewhat cared enough to ask her what Danny had. In a way, she felt like she was cheating on her best friend.

The blonde laughed trying to dissipate what she felt was a heavier atmosphere.
