I'd rather not disappoint, if possible.

“Ah,” Elijah said, moving to sit down on the bench two down from Marissa, the one in between holding her broom. He knew that he probably sounded like a moron or some celibate weirdo that definitely had no place in this conversation. But for Elijah, it was just an interesting topic that didn’t come up very often. It also wasn’t something that he thought about much. It wasn’t that he wasn’t a red-blooded straight male, it was more that his mother taught him to treat people with respect even if they didn’t show it to him.

Having those kind of random thoughts seemed to be disrespectful no matter who it was thought about.

But that wasn’t really what Marissa was asking. She was focusing on the action, rather than a person, so Elijah found himself thinking about it. His initial awkwardness faded away with a shrug of his broad shoulders. “The moments when I do?” He questioned, running a hand through his hair. If he was being honest, they were few and far between, but he understood what the Aquila was asking. Plus it would probably make him look foolish if he said so. Thankfully though, it seemed like Marissa was in for an actual conversation, not just to tease. “I guess it can be pretty annoying not being able to do what you want.”

If she asked him to explain further, he probably couldn’t. Elijah couldn’t remember the last time he’d wanted someone to make out with and hadn’t found anyone. But there were situations that he could probably relate to it. Sort of like an itch he couldn’t scratch or something in that zone of discomfort or neediness. But it was an interesting topic coming from Marissa.

“You know,” he said, looking down at her broom as she paused in cleaning it. Blue-green eyes flickered back up to the redhead. “I never really expected you to have problems with something like that.” He paused for a second, uncertain as to whether or not prying was the right way to go. Then again, Marissa was the one that brought it up. “Is everything going alright?”
