George, I am just finishing a book on the Naperville train wreck and would like to ask you some questions:
1) In what capacity did you father work for the Burlington railroad?
2) What was the street address for your family?
3) How long did he stay at the wreck before returning home?
4) How old was your dad at the time?
5) Do you have any other remembrances of the day?
6) Do you know anyone who has any photos of the wreck? I have some, but could use more. The Sun only has about six photos. I have some copies from the college and from a man who was a student at NCC at the time.
7) How long did you stay at the crash site? Why did he take you?
9) Did your father work at night? Why was he in his slippers?
10) Did you know my Dad, John Spinner who, with his brother Bill owned the Naperville Liquor Store.
Thank you for your answers. Email me at spinlake@yahoo.com
Sincerely,
Chuck Spinner
