great grandmother Nilsdotter

I would like to research this myself so I'm asking how to go about it. I'm looking for the parents of my great grandmother Johanne Kristine Nilsdotter born 08 May 1821 in Vastsra Karaby, Malmo. Where do I start to find her parents? Are there records available online I can access? I know she married Ohla Bengtsson in 1845 and then with two kids moved to Denmark. But where did she come from? Family shows her husband's family but nothing of hers. Appreciate any help. Thanks Judith Davis
