I think it included thanks for my support all season or something similar, even though I am no longer a season ticket holder, and have attended no home games this season, for reasons well known to the club - though evidently not recorded in their CRM system. To try and get more people to the game is laudable though. I got an email too....
I agree, seemed a bit odd as I too have a season ticket. Surely it would make more sense to contact the people on the database who occasionally buy tickets?

.. to a match that I had already paid to attend as if I am a valued guest ... and oh, btw, the ticket prices are x, y and z. So, I'm not an invited guest after all then? How confusing.
