However the Club cannot afford to turn down an evening booking which brings in much needed additional income.

The Trust, through its improved relationship with the Club, has stressed the need for them to provide alternative post match facilities for those relatively few supporters who do like to stay on afterwards to have a drink, check tv scores, watch a match, avoid the traffic queues.

To be fair to the Club, they have, within the limitations available, provided these facilities as required.

Pre-match access to the Vere Suite is the more popular by far and remains unaffected by bookings such as this Saturday's.
