Our average attendance in 2001/02 was 6,621. Wasps arrived that summer and by 2003/04 our ave att had dropped to 5,256. That is a loss of 1,365 supporters each game. Did they stop going because of Wasps or was due to the bilge spilling out Lawrie Sanchez's mouth and onto the pitch?
You also seem to be concentrating purely on attendances. How about the effect on our off-field income (sponsorship, advertising and corporate hospitality etc)?
