Whether it's a problem ringing the club and them answering as if they are a different entity, I suppose that's very much up to the individual in question. I would find it quite irritating, but then I find it quite irritating that I have to ring them up in the first place rather than simply turning up and I find it irritating that I have to do so 24 hours ahead of the game. I suppose it's therefore a question of whether you put any value into keeping your supporters happy and/or believe that they would ever leave if you did continue to annoy them. They've probably done a cost analysis on the savings doing it this way vs the amount of people who will simply walk away.
For example, I notice Chris Thomas as CEO of Wasps made a statement on their website this week, but I have never seen one on the WWFC site. But presumably he is paid 50/50? How about when gasroomers... more
