The whole of the senior team were upset that their popular young manager was leaving, despite excellent form in the second half of the season, and then the chief executive starts dabbling with players contracts including Bloomfield's, and also shifted some players out the door before a new manager came in, which was totally out of order. Mcgleish's comments were, in my opinion, totally justified, especially as he was the voice of the player's union at the time.
