A friend of mine (who should know better) recently told me he wasn't going to Ukraine because the flights were £700 and the hotels were more!

I guess this is because tabloid journalists have spent five minutes on the internet looking at luxury Kiev city centre hotels and business class flights (anyone interested in going can still fly in and out for £200 and stay for £15 a night).
