unless it is to say that the rules will suit the rich clubs, but they are going to buy everything in sight anyway and you can't refuse to update the games rules in order to suit this agenda. Seems like you are suggesting that the league should be fixed.
I also note that you have moved away from your position of squads not needing to be upsized as a result of this change and are now merely protesting 'what's an extra two or three players?'. It may have escaped your notice, but a lot of clubs are trying to downsize their playing staff because they've been running at losses for years and this move back to a bigger subs bench actually pushes them in the opposite direction.
You may be right that we will ultimately disagree, but I can only see incidental benefits to this move (and you have scraped the bottom of the barrel in order to find them) whereas in return in a time of serious financial meltdown within Europe and at best a long term recession in the UK, I see football once again trying to prove that it lives in a bubble by expanding its operation. No matter how much you may protest that these are mere quibbles, the facts are quite plain.
