couldnt agree more Hayes is/was a businessmen and like all businessmen they need a pet project, once the development plans were quashed the club only ever going one way.
The closure of the CofE is disaster, surely a football clubs assets are its players professional or youth. Without the latter coming through and no money to buy its going to be death by a thousand cuts (actually I dont think it will take that many). This club will be non league in two seasons. The great irony is that the club has be lorded by the football league as a beacon of youth development. Sadly I think more clubs will follow soon.

The loss of the academy is the start of what is to come. As much as you love or hate Hayes he put alot into wanderers, we will be all begging for him to come back by the end of the season

Who put the money into the Youth scheme before Steve Hayes arrival? He certainly didn't create it.

    • What has Hayes 'put in' exactly?Tory Goon, Fri Jun 8 19:05
He loaned money he knew the club could never repay. Good riddance to him. He only ever wanted a stadium for his own profit.
