Your right WWFC never had an Academy, but you obviously have no understanding of youth development. WWFC's COE last season had 11 first year scholars many of chose the COE route because they believed & many COE players believe that the chances of progressing through the system in far greater than at an academy. It's not about the number of staff or facilities, more players are choosing this route & many of the WWFC scholars turned down Academy football. The club has made well over the million pound mark from players over the past 2 years & there are not many Academies that can say that...poor relation maybe, but it was a very good & successful addition to the club. The sale of Jordan Ibe could of secured the future of the COE for years. It's a great loss!!

Thank you for all your efforts, I believe we had an academy to be proud of. All the best for the future.

of the rescue of a sinking ship. Better that we still have WWFC minus a COE than no club at all for that will be the alternative all because of that man Hayes.

Does it really matter, 31 staff have lost jobs plus countless young footballers lost.

Well, not with a wish to be pedantic, but a COE is a different entity than an academy. To hold academy status a club requires the investment to cover more coaching staff, better facilities, more... more
