apart from the goal against sweden which was very unlucky he's been very sound defensively and compliments the attack well. I'd say he's better than Richards whose positional play is appalling and imo has been better than cole in this tournament, who we keep being told is the best left back in the world. Don't forget as well that Johnson has played a whole season, whereas Richards was dropped from the team after poor form at the end of the season.
