I don't speak for the trust and have no insider info, sorry. Just my opinion. I guess there are confidentiality clauses as there normally are with such things. Their official line to members is "Make sure we have your email address, we will let you know when we can"
I think it would make sense for them to look at all options, potential donors, investors, ssponsors and supporters, but I don't imagine that's what's holding things up.
Calm down all, a few people here need to remember this isn't a takeover in the normal sense, Don't imagine for a minute that three or four wealthy people have chucked in a couple of million each out... more
