Broadly I really do. It is just a bit hard to know what I am supporting. Last night being a classic example. We had one side of the story posting (emotionally) and no response from the other side. I have to say my sympathies were with the C of E parents.
It would have made some sense to come out with a statement at the start of the process to say here are the broad objectives. Then go under the NDA and do the deal.
The fans could have really got behind that and it would have created a massive positive feel about the whole thing. Who knows season ticket sales could have improved if people saw a great future ahead.
However I feel the veil came down too quick. And as I said after experiencing two transitions on the basis of "trust us" (no pun intended) I am still a bit wounded.
And as for Ebbsfleet - dear god no. Stay at home and buy CM2012.
They have 500 paying members. They have given the Board a mandate to protect the interests of the club. That is what they are currently doing. Let them do it. How many support your view? Rather fewer ... more
