Questioning your desire to make assumptions and guesswork does not mean I, or anyone else, is an "insider" or anymore "in the know" than you are. It does however mean they see little to be gained in guessing and would rather just wait and see. You are free to guess but to what end? Just as you speak for yourself, I speak for myself and certainly not for the Trust.
I suspect the Trust are rather frustrated themselves due to the need to respect commercial confidentiality and NDAs. Especially as they are being subjected to some rather unfair criticism from certain quarters (including this forum) as a consequence.
Other takeovers which have seen bucket collections and cake sales are usually done out of necessity due to an impending financial crisis which threatens the very existence of that football club. I don't believe we are at this point yet due in no small part to the work of the Trust. Our involvement is likely to come once any takeover has been concluded.
The terms of the takeover are being driven by the current owner. He can do as he wishes now as a consequence of the 2009 vote. 81% of fans voted to relinquish any mandate and no prospective new owner requires one. You are right, this used to be our club, but that changed in 2009 (and arguably 2004).
As has already been stated elsewhere in this thread, the Trust already has supporters on board through their membership, which is currently the highest in its short history. If you seek greater involvement you may like to consider becoming a member, if you aren't already of course.

Broadly I really do. It is just a bit hard to know what I am supporting. Last night being a classic example. We had one side of the story posting (emotionally) and no response from the other side. I... more
It seems as though, and this might be just my interpretation or the way its being presented, that Hayes is dropping Wycombe and the trust are stepping in, rather tan this being a trust land grab, but ... more
