The site is part of a contract with
FL Interactive, the interactive media wing of the Football League. There's literally no point moaning at WWFC about the site. Wycombe have picked what seems to be the best of a really really bad bunch of template options available to them.
Positives:
The site no longer redirects you to the mobile homepage when you view on your phone. So you can now actually click a link to a news article, and then read that news article.
Negatives:
The template makes absolutely no concessions to mobile usage, from optimised layouts through to
responsive design. Mobile browsing accounts for around 12 - 15% of visitors, and is predicted to overtake desktop browsing around 2014. Responsive design techniques have been around for a couple of years, the fact that an organisation the size of the Football League can screw this up so badly boggles my mind.
If you have complaints about the level of service FL Interactive is providing (as I do), then contact FL Interactive. Personally I think they're a disgrace and have basically scammed almost every club in the league.
