next year would you like to see home fans based in the dreams stand and the away fans to be based in the Greene king terrace?

I don't go to games anymore because the atmosphere is so cack. It is like a morgue. There's only so long that terraces will continue to exist so let all the 'true fans' have their day.

When the away stand was built the justification was that it was for AWAY supporters who would not have to mingle with home fans to leave the stadium, made segregation and control easier. This was put ... more

Home supporters must have the choice of standing. I would like to see the Home Terrace expanded one day, but that's one for the future.

Take the seats out the Dream terrace and put them in the Valley Terrace, with additional away seating reserved in the end of the Woddland Stand. Cost would probably prevent this though.
      • needless expenditure that you rightly mention. Logistical nightmare too, with, as you also point out, the probable need for higher profile away games to allocate a portion of seating to away... more

it has everything to do with acoustics. We could take 500 to a ground like Orient and the noise is amazing. the terrace is good for standing, but crap for atmosphere

I think you will find most supporters are in the terrace under their own choice and would not want to sit. The Terrace is the heart of the supporters.
    • Re: NeverAnonymous, Tue Jul 24 13:10
"The Terrace is the heart of the supporters" Bit of an insult to all of the other fans who turn up week in week out but choose an alternative stand isn't it?
      • ---choice to stand up, Mr Anon. I wouldn't dream of suggesting (or wanting)the taking away of the free choice of Wycombe supporters to sit. Do you think those of us Wycombe supporters who choose to... more

all the other stands apart from the terrace never make half as much noise.

Gold star for you Mr Ruiz for being in what you believe is the backbone of our support, I am probaly older than you but by what you are saying that having supported the club since 1973 that counts... more

is it the terrace making noise, or the 20-30 people at the top? it is the latter, and thier are people in other stands who make just as much noise indevidually. when it gets going, the frank... more

And always the same answer - no So unless some of the Greene King can be converted to safe standing I would expect the rejection of this idea.
