Gareth Ainsworth

"We did enough to win the game. We had a big chance to make it 2-0 but their threat from set-plays told in the end."

"Energy levels in the first half were amazing and maybe dropped off after the break. We wanted to press them and did it well."

"I thought we started the game really well. We've done enough to win the game.

"We had some great chances, especially that header in the second half from Dominic Gape. He'll be disappointed - he needed to score that.

"I think Jamal [Blackman] has tipped one over the bar and there was the header from the corner which loops in.

"There are details that I need to iron out in private, I won't make them public, but we have to defend that better and we have a way of doing that. We didn't do that [this evening] and that is disappointing. But on the plus side Dominic's chance is a great chance to win the game. Will [de Havilland] had a chance when he came on.

"Their keeper has been busier than ours, I am pleased. In the first half we had chances where there were desperate blocks by the Plymouth players and fair play, that is what they are there for and that is what they get paid for. They done well and there were a couple of good saves from [Luke] McCormick."

"Plymouth do well at set plays. It's just that little bit of detail, it's a looping header. They are second in the league, huge budget, I think we've done well and a point for us keeps us unbeaten in four now.

"We went on the front foot, it's the only way we know how and I thought we created a lot of chances.

"We sustained pressure in the first half. When they scored they chucked on 'land of the giants' at the end. There were some big boys coming on the pitch and they were playing very direct and we handled it all. Their goal put them in the ascendency.

"Let's not get carried away. It's Wycombe Wanderers, we know who we are and we're going to give it a right go until the end of the season."

"We were at home and I know that people want us to win at home but it is Plymouth Argyle."

"They have been at the top of the league for three years now, it is about time they probably got out of this league.

"They have got a big budget and they have some big, big players as well.

"They were putting on giants at the end there and playing very direct and going for set plays.

"You have to stand up and battle against that, but I am pleased. We are still in the hunt, which is great."

Ainsworth confirmed it was a tactical switch to bring off Muller for De Havilland.

"We just want to keep in touch with the play-off's now.

"I want to give the fans something to cheer about until the last kick of the season. We've had some good moments this season and I want to keep it going."
