Gareth Ainsworth

"It was an enormous win. I know what that means for the fans and the Club. Everyone stepped up and I'm so proud of them. I told the players before that this game was their season, you go out, you step up and you make it happen, and they did, every single one of them did.

"I was so proud of them. Doncaster are top of the league for a reason, their rotation in midfield is something special.

"Alfie May going off with an injury was a stroke of luck for us. I think he was causing all sorts of problems with his running.

"The victory was sweet, it means we are right back in the hunt. There's 46 games in this league, and we are still right in it."

"We've had a good season. I'm proud of what we've done. But let's keep going. Let's keep it alive."

"We deserved to win today against a superb team with a brilliant manager. They've torn teams apart this season and I was well aware of that in the week when planning the team and the formation, and I know that doesn't always go right but today we managed to get the result we needed.

"I was so pleased with the performance. We've got this solidity and belief at the moment, just at the right time. Being written off is not such a bad thing sometimes because there is no pressure and we want to prove people wrong."

"To be in the right in the hunt at this stage of the season is fantastic and we have a chance now to get through the back door, but we've got a couple of big games to go yet.

"The table is mental, and teams below us will be saying they are only three points off the play-offs and we're lucky enough to say we're only one point off the play-offs, but we can't relax and think we're closer than anybody else, we need to make sure we go for this. We're only three points off fifth, which is what I want to go for, and if we have to fall as a cushion into the play-offs then great, but we want to strive to finish as high as we can.

"We've got Morecambe next Saturday where the last couple of seasons have been tough against them, but we're hoping it's third time lucky and we'll have a go up there to try and set up a momentous game here."
