Out: Dominic Gape

Gareth Ainsworth

“They haven’t done enough to beat us but on the other hand they have because they stuck the ball in the back of the net but we probably weren’t good enough to beat them.

“It has been a horrible night up here and if I am honest I am really disappointed with the goal. We defended it poorly and we can let men go free at the set-piece.

“We have gone over it and I have let the boys know my feelings. But then after that we didn’t play the conditions well.

“The pitch was probably the worst we have played on but we played a team who will always close you down and we made some wrong decisions.

“It is disappointing but we win and lose as a team and I am not going to start naming names but as a whole we have to better than that. We should be going down the road with a point because that was the type of game it was but they put it in the net and we haven’t and that’s that.

“Early on we had a couple of great chances and Paris with a header but there was nothing major to threaten them. Goals change games but we can’t concede like we have done there.”
