Ebere Eze confirmed back at QPR - plus reaction and videos
Tue Jan 2, 2018 10:12

QPR Manager Ian Holloway confirmed Eze's return to Loftus Road, saying:"Eze's had an outstanding period out on loan but now is the right time to bring him back. We feel he's a good fit for us in terms of how we want to play going forward, with two number 10's playing just off a striker, like we did against Cardiff. He's going to be back in my squad. He deserves the opportunity. He's earned it with the way he's played during his time with Wycombe."

Meanwhile, Wanderers boss Gareth Ainsworth commented: "He's been outstanding. He's played a huge part in us winning some games and he's been that spark when we've needed him. He's still got a few bits to refine in his game but he's got everything to be a top, top player. He'll go back to QPR and I'm sure he'll play a few games for them. We wish him all the very best and we're hoping we'll see him in the blue and white hoops soon."

Eze made 22 appearances for Wanderers, including 16 starts in the Football League, plus two further starts in the Football League Trophy. The QPR youngster also scored on five occasions, including two incredible goals away to Cambridge United on 7th October 2017.
