Randell Williams returns to Wycombe after injury

Watford winger Randell Williams will head to Wycombe Wanderers this week after recovering from a thigh problem.

The 21-year-old signed for the Chairboys on loan until the end of the season in January, but has yet to make an appearance for the club due to injury.

He has been recovering at Watford's UCL training ground and featured for the U23s in their defeat to Charlton Athletic last night.

Williams looked lively and should have had an assist on his return to the side, only for Ryan Cassidy to see his effort denied by the keeper following an inch-perfect Williams cross.

"Randell has been out for a long time with those injuries, this was his first game back and his first 60 odd minutes," Hayden Mullins explained.

"He'll go back to Wycombe on Tuesday or Wednesday and it was good to see him back playing with us.

"He's been out for a while with a thigh injury and he needed minutes before he goes back there. It's fantastic to see him playing"
