Team News

Two changes from the side that had drew with Blackpool on the opening day of the season.
Bryn Morris called in to make his Wanderers debut have signed on loan from Shrewsbury in the week, replacing Paris Cowan-Hall who picked up an injury versus Blackpool.
Sido Jombati recalled into defence to replace Michael Harriman - serving a one match suspension for his red card against Blackpool.
New signing Jason McCarthy was named amongst the substitutes alongside side former Southampton teammate Dominic Gape.
Scott Kashket was involved in the pre-match warm-ups but was not named in the matchday squad.

Reaction:

Gareth Ainsworth

"We had some really good chances, especially just before they made it 1-0, and it would've been a different game if we'd scored first. But we'll meet some good sides this year and Doncaster are one of them."

"I'm gutted and the boys are down. The fans stayed with us and we all know what the remit is this season, so we know we'll stick together and build from here."

"Randell did very well and was a thorn in their side. There were a combination of errors for their goals and that's a lesson for us to learn. I want a cup run this season and we'll be taking Tuesday (vs Northampton) seriously."
