Hi Don, Sorry that took a while to get back to you. Most incidents are documented by A/C Number and name, some only by number, and I didn't mange to find The Mustang or any other un-named A/C with that number. BUT, I have one incident here: "Feb 1, 1943: During a _______ strike agianst Lakunai Airdrome at Rabaul, a B-17 __ , No: __________ Piloted by :___________ Schultz was hit by ack-ack over the target at about ______ hours (night mission). The Fortress was holed in about 50 places and the tail gunner was killed while kneeling over his guns. One gunner called PFC Agnew White was killed."

I could find nothing else that might relate.
