My father was in 403rd, 43, crashed on B-24 at Balete Pass, March 7, 1945.....I'm looking for information, anything, related to my dad...I'm writing a book about his story of survival. B-24, serial number 44-40979.....I have a few photos, the "Down Under" book, with autographs, I have a 27 page accident report containing crew names of survivors and those who lost their lives. Am trying to verify if a photo of b-24 with fuselage numbers on it is THE plane.....please email me..Thanks!
