Sirs: My Dad, Staff Sgt. Edward J Polaski, died many years ago but I have photos of his B24 and can help indentify his crew. He was part of the 63rd Bomb Squadron, 43rd Bomb Group. I've been trying to research ANY information about his B24-J. I have a clear photo of it, the crew, and of the nomenclature: Project No. Dom 151a US Army B24J SFO, AF Ser # 42-50911. The patch on his coat says "fuzzy Brown Growler" and is a bear under a parachute. He served in the Japan theater as I have his photos from his plane. I actually had the opportunity to fly in the Collins Foundation B24J last year. It was an experience of a life-time. I'd love to put up some photos that I can identify if it will help even one person. I would also hope that someone can point me to some hard info about the B24J he flew in. Thanks, in advance, for any help you might be able to provide!
