He said he and his father witnessed the fight from their office window across from Fly's on Fremont. Their office was on Toughnut Street and Mr. Lewis was lying. If Lewis comments are taken seriously, rather than casually dismissed as totally false as they should be, then there is little or no chance of finding what really happened.
Another thing Lewis said was that Billy Clanton rode up at the last second, just before the shooting, jumped off his horse and slapped the horse on his rear end to send him into the corral. I think the list of those willing to believe that or consider it, as it conflicts with every other version of Billy Clanton's movements that day, is short. Likewise for Lewis other comments about the fight he claims to have seen but could not have seen.
What is the purpose in considering what Lewis has to say on this subject, as he is 100% not credible?
Was the minor and son who allegedly witnessed the gunfight ever identified or are these just images for old timer accounts? The miner after seeing the fight wanted to go for his shotgun as he stated... more
