2. Sept. 24, 1891 murder of Dr. John C. Handy (after a vicious divorce battle) shot by by Mrs. Handy’s lawyer Francis “Frank’ Heney. Despite the efforts of legendary gunshot expert Dr. George Goodfellow, Handy died just after midnight.
Side note: Defense lawyer for the three Leavy assasins was same who defended three Earp boys at Tombstone; "Hon." Tom Fitch.
