Howdy Gary

Think of the contribution Jeff Morey could have made by making the chronology you mentioned public with assorted information we would have all longed to see, especially from him!

Think of the contribution those with available copies of the Epitaph or Nugget or both could have made by making that information public with all the annotation they wanted!

Assuming Hayhurst and Turner were able to copy a few things right, I think the judgment about the Prosecution lawyers approach to Williams is they were pretty bad. They had him repeat the damaging testimony almost word for word. Then they had him back it up with testimony about his good perception of who was in the room with him and Behan. Then they missed several chances to attack his credibility, at least a bit. In the process of having his credibility attacked, if it made him mad, Williams might have made some more mistakes that could be used against him.

If these types of lawyers had to face aggressive modern lawyers they could have easily ended up running from the court room and seeking safe space in the fetal position in their closets
