Those are the mitigating factors, and with clear differences to be sure, but while I do agree that the lack of info and reporting about her death is intriguing, I'm not sure I agree that it's enough to believe Wyatt would be as hush-hush as he was. Not disagreeing, either, though.

Years later when he gave his account to Flood and then Lake he seems to very intentionally hide this period. Just my own feeling here, but it seems it would take a bigger occasion to be so paranoid 50 years later. But then, embarrassment can stay with someone a lot longer than bad feelings, sometimes.

Still a very interesting point.
