The Trinidad, CO, sourcing is interesting. Several years ago I was in Pueblo, CO, looking for info on the RHP, JHH, and Masterson adventure in 1882 and, as I was leaving the Historical Society building, I was offered similar "original" framed ovals of Masterson and his woman(name??) for a healthy price. Seems the offer came up from Trinidad, where reportedly they were updating good old Bat's history there. Dumb ol' me didn't follow up. Stuff happens.
