Just looked at those numbers again...

It's crazy it's only 4,095 lines of actual code if you exclude the headers and bank lines.

There's also a bunch of menu code as well that I think is repeated for the "hidden" Wry 2 demo or whatever that is buried in there as well as some other "dead end" coe that if you excluded would bring that number down further.

The previous projects I was on at work, other developers on my team had created a "god class" that was a disgusting 2,700 lines of code in one class.

Wry is the exact opposite of this with only an average of 27 lines per sub routine if those numbers are correct. :)

I think the latest iteration of Millennium Crisis I'm writing in Java already goes way beyond the line number of Wry. :)

Guess they never heard of the 1, 2, 3 refactor rule. (1) Get code out of your head and into the system. (2) Make sure it does what it's supposed to, so the logic is right. (3) Refactor so the code... more

Programming is actually a creative work but it gets treated as a checklist (for lack of a better term) work. All that legacy code? Vectors for major security holes.

I can't (actually I can) believe there's that many blank lines in the code. I wonder what the stats would look like if it was minified like a JS file. :) That code is such a magnificent cluster-f***... more
