Just finished canning tomatoes in every way you can imagine to can them - and a killer spaghetti sauce. (My Polish serf husband likes spaghetti a lot!) I miss this board for its beauty, simplicity and heart for homesteading - lost my mom not long ago. We had a good mother/daughter relationship and though her dementia took her mind away sometimes, for the most part she was still very much "mom." Getting used to the void. Glad husband still here and kicking his heels high, though he turned 70 years old recently. He turned 70 right there in his ancient homeland, Poland! We got to travel this year - first Israel, then Poland. Awesome, words can't say. Will try to stop in more often, promise. Think of TBone every single time I'm here, Sooz & CF too...not to mention WoolyLam, gosh, all of you so dear - so hope you all are kickin your heels high too. Life is too short not to dance!

I need to have an x ray done on right knee. Something in there not right for over a year - meniscus is a word I've heard before regarding knee pain. I take MSM every morning, seems to help with... more

Ally.. check Update above all the posts. The meniscus is the cartilage that provides a cushion between the thigh bone and shin bone. Tears do not show up on stay but only on an MRI. Good luck!
