FJ-80 EFI relay

I have a 1991 fj-80. The EFI relay blows/burns out every ten months or so. Started 6 years go. I keep spares in the glove box and when the truck dies or doesn't start, I pop in a new one. What would cause this? I don't have any issues with any thing else. Thoughts?
