I switched to electronic ignition a few yrs ago on my '71 fj-40 because the points kept failing. To date, I have replaced my Pertronics electronic ingnition module three times. Last night it left me stranded again with no spark. . The module (pickup) gets too much voltage or heat and is failing. Is there a resistor someplace to regulate voltage? I'm not too electronically savvy. By the way, It's $130 per module. Any ideas?? Thanks, Raymond
