OK if it's a 40 you take a Punch and hammer and drive the pin's up. I start with the bottom. Oh first remove any of the door stop part's then roll down window close door then knock out pin's open door and lift it off the Cruiser. You do just the revirse to install. Good luck.

    Is there a reason not to use the hinge gaskets, like the ones used on the hood/cowl, when installing the passenger and drivers doors?

      I used them - made my own on all hinge plates at the suggestion of my expert bodyman. There was no problem with fit. Where 2 metal faces meet, a gasket might prevent damage to one or the other... more
